Gnarly stalwarts of the bubbling South Wales noise rock scene. This Is Wreckage have been spitting their sonic filth since 2012. Their latest release, Transaction/Service, is a loosely conceptual record that tells the story of a respectable business man who dresses up as a fairy at a underground 70s era meatpacking district club by night. Think American Psycho crossed with that grubby 80s Al Pacino movie Cruising.

Themes explored within the album deal with the duality of man and the darker side of the human condition. TIW wanted to make something a bit different to their last record by blending beauty with ugliness. It's still noisy, but with an element of beauty. It threatens to be pretty, but then it's ruined by the noise.
